QEEG Brain Mapping
A visual map of your brain's electrical activity—learn what makes you, you
What is QEEG?
QEEG (Quantitative EEG) records your brain's electrical patterns and compares them to thousands of age-matched brains. The result is a visual map showing how your brain differs from typical—revealing patterns linked to attention, stress, sleep, and performance. Think of it as a starting point for understanding your brain's unique operating system.
Why Get a QEEG?
Your brain produces electrical rhythms called brainwaves. These rhythms—measured in different frequency bands like Delta, Theta, Alpha, and Beta—influence everything from your ability to focus to how well you sleep.
A QEEG doesn't diagnose conditions, but it can reveal functional patterns that relate to your experience. For example:
- High Theta waves often correlate with attention difficulties and ADHD patterns
- Low Alpha waves are commonly seen in anxiety and stress
- Connectivity imbalances can relate to brain fog, processing speed, or social difficulties
By understanding your brain's patterns, we can design a personalised neurofeedback protocol targeting exactly what you want to change.
What to Expect
- 1Setup (20 mins): A cap with sensors is fitted to your head and filled with gel. Painless and non-invasive.
- 2Recording (20 mins): 10 minutes with eyes closed, then 10 minutes eyes open. Just sit still and relax.
- 3Analysis: Your data is processed and compared to age-matched databases.
- 4Consultation: Dr. Hill reviews your results with you via video and explains what your patterns mean.
QEEG in the UK
Peak Brain UK offers QEEG brain mapping in two ways:
🏢 In-Office (London)
Visit our London location for your QEEG recording with one of our trained technicians.
📦 Remote Kit (UK-wide)
We ship equipment to your home and guide you through the recording via video call.
All QEEGs are reviewed personally by Dr. Andrew Hill, PhD, ensuring you receive the same expert analysis as clients at any Peak Brain location worldwide.
Real Results: Pre & Post QEEG Brain Maps
These QEEG brain maps show changes after 30 sessions of neurofeedback training. Red/orange areas indicate patterns outside the typical range that shifted toward normal after training.
